"A Cornucopia of Yes", Original Painting

I painted "A Cornucopia of Yes" using an intuitive technique where different acrylic paints are applied first randomly on the canvas to let an image emerge naturally.  This process is quite challenging as well as unexpectedly rewarding. I would normally not have been inclined towards painting a collage of animals, including a peacock, an elephant, and the face of a tortoise. By painting intuitively when the image of a bird head, an elephant and an eagle emerged on the canvas I trusted the paint and the canvas allowing the resulting work to emerge. For me the result was "A Cornucopia of Yes" because I kept saying yes as images emerged and because the work which blossomed forth resonated with the yes I feel for nature's cornucopia.
